About this Project (1 Berthe Morisot)
Berthe Marie Pauline Morisot (1841-1895), a French painter, was the only woman among the major Impressionist artists of the time. Our students compared selected artworks from the Impressionist movement and the Renaissance era and discovered their many similarities and differences. They developed skills, techniques, and processes as they painted their own original impressionistic flowers in a vase.
